Grizzly Manor - informal coffee shop has superb breakfast ... small, local and colorful. Located on Big Bear Blvd. across from the middle school.

The Cowboy Express Steak House - on Lakeview Drive is good for ribs, steak, chicken, onion loaf, etc.

Captain's Anchorage - just off Big Bear Blvd. on Moonridge Road. Superb steak, salad bar, fish ... cozy. Walking distance from Starvation Flats Ranch (less than 1 mile).

Mountain Munchies - in the center of the Stater Bros. shopping center. Awesome sandwiches and soups to eat there or pack for a picnic by the lake.

Get The Burger - just simple, cooked to order burgers, walking distance from the house

Peppercorn Grille - located in the heart of the village - outdoor and indoor seating - great place for lunch and dinner noted for their exceptional service

Blanca & Pierre's - awesome pastries - near Boulder Bay - breakfast or lunch

Stillwell's in Northwoods Resort - in the villlage, native woodsy decor, great food

Mill Creek Manor Tea Room - a special place for a ladies lunch or afternoon tea near Alpine Slide

El Jacalito Grill - enjoy great Mexican food, dining inside or out, near Peppercorn, centrally located downtown on Pine Knot

Maggio's Pizza - great Italian pizza and salads, very popular with the locals, in Interlaken Shopping Center next to Vons

Whiskey Dave's - great local bar with pizza and other bar food, designer spirits, billiards, and music. In the heart of downtown.

North Shore Cafe - enjoy a beautiful drive to the north side of the lake to downtown Fawnskin, this hideaway boasts a noteworthy twenty year reputation for breakfast, lunch and dinner by an award winning chef.

Copper Q - great ambiance for designer coffee and esquisite baked goods or for a quick breakfast or lunch in the heart of downtown. The fire pit out front is a great place to view downtown happenings. Be sure to ask about free cooking demonstrations on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
